Parent Network

The AACLD has established a Parent Network for the purpose of keeping families informed about new developments in the field of special education, primarily focusing on African American children with learning disabilities.  Network members are encouraged to share this information with others in order to raise the level of awareness in communities across the nation about learning differences.  The AACLD would also like to receive information from families about their experiences with learning problems.  This information will help the organization to better fulfill its role as an advocate for African American children with learning disabilities.  If you would like to become a member of the Parent Network, please complete the Join Our Mailing List form, which is accessed on the Contact Us page of this website.
